ÐßÐßÊÓƵ will present its Corporate Citizenship Awards for 2015 to Dan Glaser, President and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies and Steve Holliday, CEO of National Grid on June 10, 2015, in the historic 14th century Merchant Taylors’ Hall, in recognition of their exceptional commitment and innovative approach to corporate responsibility.

ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s Annual Corporate Citizenship Awards Dinner is the premier gala event of London’s transatlantic business calendar, attracting an influential audience of more than 200 influential business leaders from both sides of the Atlantic as well as other dignitaries including senior Government Ministers and Ambassadors. Our previous honourees include Arun Sarin, Lord Browne, Peter Voser, Sir Martin Sorrell, Sir Michael Rake, Peter Sands, and Peter Hancock.

The venue of this year’s dinner, Merchant Taylors’ Hall, is one of the very few surviving medieval banqueting halls in the City of London, centred around a stunning private courtyard providing a perfect summer setting for evening cocktails.

Open for Business: What a transatlantic free trade and investment agreement means to the UK automotive sector

The event is part of the ‘Open for Business’ initiative, a series of industry specific events with the objective to explore the changes and opportunities that a successful and comprehensive trade and investment partnership (TTIP) agreement can bring to UK sectors, in particular in regards to the scope and sector-specific content of the agreement. The initiative aims to build a nation-wide sector case for TTIP and UK-US trade and investment in general that will contribute to the debate in the UK and beyond.

‘What a transatlantic free trade and investment agreement means to the UK automotive sector’ will focus on the impact a comprehensive transatlantic trade and investment agreement can have on the automotive sector in the UK, and specifically to the West Midlands as the UK’s cluster for the automotive industry. A panel of senior experts from business, sector associations and government will discuss the changes and benefits the agreement could bring to automotive sector.
